Wicked Diving Indonesia is proud to sail our Komodo Liveaboard Charter through some of the most famous dive areas of the world – the UNESCO protected Komodo National Park.
Nearly all our staff are diving and boat experts from the area. All of us love to share our passion for these rich seas: you will dive with hundreds of species of fish and corals and the vast pristine reefs. It is the unusual trip where our guests don’t experience passing pelagic like manta rays and sharks, amazing critters and much more. We live and work in the park: Wicked Diving focuses on preserving and protecting our home. Join us in exploring this amazing place.
Wicked Diving has been proudly operating our own liveaboards for more than 13 years. We are not agents – we operate our own liveaboard. Remember that we live here and we will be diving with you. At all points of your Komodo journey, it is obvious that we care deeply about your experience. Every step possible is taken to assure that you, our reefs and communities are protected and safe. You will find that we take responsibility for your experience from the first email until long after you leave. As such, Wicked Diving is far more concerned that you have a great time and enjoy your time than we are to try and sell you any trip we can. Our focus is YOU!
Wicked Diving is absolutely committed to to working in and protecting our local communities. We dedicate 2% of all revenue towards training programs that work with local schools. We cooperate to train local dive guides, snorkel guides and administrative staff. You are directly benefiting these communities when you book with us – and you will dive with many of the graduates of this program! Experience first hand what a positive impact your dive trip makes ?
If you think we are just blowing bubbles: 5 star rated on Tripadvisor and consistently positive feedback. We have had our Fourth straight year of “Certificate of Excellence” awarded again in 2016, 2017, 2018 AND 2019

The medical facilities are minimal and evacuation to the nearest major hospital (Bali) can take 12-24 hours in good conditions. Please learn more about these
Prerequisites/Experience Required
At some of the Komodo dive sites, the currents can be challenging, the water can vary from warm to quite cool and even the waves and surface currents can make these dive sites seem daunting. Our very experienced guides choose dive sites, times and even locations to make sure each dive is safe and suitable. And with more than 100 dive sites, it’s never a bother to move on to the next one!
We do mandate that every guests have recent diving experience (less than 1 year ago) before joining the Komodo Liveaboards. In some places this is called a “Refresher” or a “scuba tune-up”.if not, we will require a “scuba tune-up” or refresher before your first dive….believe us, the trip will be soooo much more fun! Did you know you can easily do an Advanced Course while on the trip? The cost is a bargain and the opportunity priceless!

These are crazy times aren’t they? At this point - we all know the virus is there and has affected almost every aspect of our world. Almost every continent and country has been affected. Almost certainly each of us is directly impacted in one form or another.
However, we are not asking for help with our business. We are asking for help in the community. With tourism shut down, there is no income. In Flores/Komodo a whole generation has grown up entirely dependent on tourism. This was already a marginal area, with very few other employment options available. Now it has become a crisis. We have done all we can to aid and assist in providing for our own staff and their families, but the whole region is struggling. The lack of tourism has impacted every industry and most families.
This has gone from an inconvenience to a disaster. Most parents are unable to provide for their children. We can make a difference, and so can you. 50USD/40EUR can actually provide the basic necessities for a family of 4 for one month! This essentials care package is made up of rice, noodles, eggs, cooking oil, cabbage, soap and drinking water.
