“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
Inside each of us is that small person that finds the world an amazing place that is filled with wonder. Our daily lives seem to be filled with too much certainty and repetitiveness. Wicked Expeditions offer a chance to explore the world and bring back that sense of awe to each of our guests. This is what we do – we explore the world around us.
Explorers, divers and snorkelers alike are welcome to join our expeditions. Our journeys are designed to carry one common element – the seas. We will go under the water, on the water and near the water. Whether exploring the far reaches on the Coral Triangle, sailing up a river in Borneo hang out with Orangutan’s, or snorkeling with Orcas in the open over – we are ready for more! We are all curious about the world around us and hope that each of guest also wants to see things reserved for the intrepid.
Our expeditions are limited to very small groups and generally offered only once a year. Each itinerary is unique and is often adapted to meet the needs of our guests and to maintain safety as we travel. Our expeditions are all routes that we have never taken and offer challenges and experiences unlike any other. The general routes are planned, but the specifics are always flexible – and so must you!
Our highly trained and passionate trip leaders are there to assure the trip is both enjoyable and safe. Not only local knowledge, but extreme adaptability and keen eye for mitigating risk are traits for our trip leaders. They are of course – also keen to see what the travels ahead hold for them! Each trip leader has both emergency GPS units and Satellite phones. We are also keen for authenticity and experiencing local cultures and peoples.
“A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.” – Tim Cahill
