Our Richelieu Rock Liveaboard Tour of the pinnacles just north of the Similan Islands will excite and amaze any diver! This is the diving experience everyone looks for! The dive sites such as Koh Tachai, Koh Bon, and Richelieu Rock are famous for the possibilities of seeing the BIG fish that we all cross our fingers for, as well as an abundance of all of the little things that hide in cracks and are hard to spot! These sites are listed among the very best in SE Asia and always reward anyone who dives them.

About the Boat

The Mariner serves as our home during these trips. Air-con cabins, incredible food and a massive sundeck, she makes any trip though the Similan Islands a delight. We also have satellite phone, International and local radios, life rafts, life jackets and a crew trained in emergency procedures. Prerequisites/Experience Required

Among the sites we visit, divers of almost any certification level can join. However, Richelieu Rock is deep and exposed – so we require that all divers have recent diving experience (within the last 12 months) before joining this trip. Not only will it make the trip far more enjoyable and safe – but it also allows you to make the most of these these trips!

Did you know you can easily do an Advanced Course while on the trip? The cost is incredible and the opportunity priceless!

Diving Info

We have dozens of dive sites to choose from – but this trip is not complete without a visit the Richelieu Rock. Once listed among the 10 best dive sites in the world and certainly the best site in Thailand. We also visit a half dozen other sites – some famous for big pelagics like Manta Rays, others perfect for the Macro enthusiast. Whenever the weather allows us, we do beach visits to the Surin Islands – a story book group of islands bordering Burma.

Marine Life

With the reputation of “world-class” diving – the marine life is even more impressive. The Harlequin shrimps, the Nudibranchs, the tiny Pineapple fish – yes all the small stuff will amaze and baffle. Sure – there are Leopard Sharks, Manta Rays and even the very occasional Whale Shark – but you want to join this trip to experience the little stuff – right? The nooks and crannies of Richelieu Rock reward the inquisitive diver with amazing encounters.
