Similan Liveaboard Specifications

The M/V Mariner – Cruising the Similan & Surin Islands and Richelieu Rock

Our Similan liveaboard, the Mariner, is not the biggest or the most luxurious. She is is not the fastest or slowest. She is – just right!

The boat has a central air-conditioning unit that  efficiently cools all the cabins making for restful sleeps. The dining area is designed for creating community and a sense of family while on the trips – and look out for our evening games and activities! The dive deck is set up to make for fast entries and exits in your dive groups. And the sundeck…well this is a massive area partly open to breezes and the evening skies. With plenty of other places to retreat during your quiet time, but a sense of openness keeps this boat feeling like your vacation is more than just focused on diving.

From the hull to sundeck she is designed for diving, has lots of character and always satisfies! Our crew are very experienced in the region, having worked aboard the Mariner for more than 10 years. Our Chef is amazing and your food is always delicious. The massive sundeck hosts both padded lounge chairs for the sun worshippers and a vast padded chill-out platform with hammocks and a great sea view. The engines and generators are in incredible shape. We spend a great deal of time pulling her up and overhauling her each year to make sure she is study, safe and solid!
