Open Water Online Training

Your time here is important! We understand that. So why not start your course right now? Yes – while you are sitting right there in front of the computer you can actually start doing the training before you ever even get here.

All this is FREE! Yes – it costs you nothing to start your diving course today!

Pygmy Seahorse – amazing things we see

Of course we still need to do some training! We do this in the swimming pool and during your open water dives. During your course you will learn several waterskills to become a confident diver. At the end of the course you will receive the Open Water Diver certification, which is recognized throughout the world and allows you to make great dives wherever there is water, rent dive equipment and continue your training.

We start the days around 9 in the morning and end normally around five to six oclock.

The course is build up in three parts: Theory, Confined exercises and Diving

similan-marine-life-divers-10Academics – You can complete them online FREE when you sign up for SSI’s Online Training program, or you can attend classroom sessions with us at Wicked Diving. Whatever best fits your needs. If you have done your training online, we still do a short theory session, which allows for questions and the final exam.

Pool Training – You will learn all the skills you will be using in the open water in the safety of a pool.

Open Water Sessions – You will complete at least 4 open water dives and have the chance to experience everything you learned in the pool hands-on. You choose whether you would like to complete the course while on a Liveaboard or on our daytrips.

After successfully completing the Academics, the Pool and Open Water Sessions you will be certified as an SSI Open Water Diver – It’s your global license to dive!

What’s next?

Well, after you have finished your course, you probably want to spend the rest of your holiday underwater. Theory is done, all skills are completed, so time to go fundiving. You will notice that there is still a lot to learn and much much more to see down there so every dive you make will add on to your experience. Or you might even consider going for the Advanced course, an easy practical course (no DVD’s and exam!) in which we go a bit deeper and get you even more comfortable by doing an extra 5 dives. It’s your holiday, you decide….
