Wicked Diving has been operating liveaboards in Thailand and Indonesia in Khao Lak for more than 12 years. Each of us takes responsibility for your experience from the first email until long after you leave. Wicked Diving is far more concerned that you have a great experience and enjoy your time than we are to try and sell you just any trip we can. You are talking to humans, not some automated booking engine. We are all divers and passionate about the seas.
Unique in the diving industry, we also set up our own non-profit to reach out and work with the local communities. We teach, share the underwater world and also offer full scholarship up to professional level. Often times you will be diving with graduates of our program.

We try to assure the comfort of all our guests equally. If you have dietary restrictions - we must be notified of this before your arrival. Due to our remoteness, the activities we undertake and, most importantly, the well-being of our guests - we have strict policies regarding health and safety on our liveaboards. Prerequisites/Experience Required
The Similan Islands region does have sites for the beginning diver and snorkeler too! (there are some more challenging ones we take the experienced divers to). We try to make time to visit the beaches on Similan Island along our journey. This trip is great for the diver, for the snorkeler and for the whole family…If everyone are over 10 years old! Did you know you can easily do an Advanced Course while on the trip? The cost is incredible and the opportunity priceless!
On this Similan Liveaboard dives are planned to a maximum depth of 30m and you must be certified to dive to this depth. The majority of insurance companies will not honor any insurance claim that is made if the customer has dived deeper than the recommended guidelines for their certification level.
Required certification levels include:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent) including the Deep Adventure Dive
PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) plus the Deep Adventure Dive
If you are not certified to dive to 30m and wish to join this liveaboards, we recommend the following options:
1) Take a PADI Deep Adventure Dive (B1,800thb..payable onboard)
This is the easiest option and requires no extra time, as it is conducted during the first dive of your liveaboard trip. This dive is a required dive in the PADI Advanced Open Water course and you will receive credit towards this certification when you complete this dive. You will receive the PADI Deep Dive Speciality manual which is yours to keep and can be used again if you decide to complete the full PADI Deep Dive Speciality course.
2) Upgrade your certification level to PADI Adventure Diver
3) Upgrade your certification level to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
All can easily be done in conjunction with the trip and will give you far more appreciation for the underwater world!

These are crazy times aren’t they? At this point - we all know the virus is there and has affected almost every aspect of our world. Almost every continent and country has been affected. Almost certainly each of us is directly impacted in one form or another.
However, we are not asking for help with our business. We are asking for help in the community. With tourism shut down, there is no income. In Flores/Komodo a whole generation has grown up entirely dependent on tourism. This was already a marginal area, with very few other employment options available. Now it has become a crisis. We have done all we can to aid and assist in providing for our own staff and their families, but the whole region is struggling. The lack of tourism has impacted every industry and most families.
This has gone from an inconvenience to a disaster. Most parents are unable to provide for their children. We can make a difference, and so can you. 50USD/40EUR can actually provide the basic necessities for a family of 4 for one month! This essentials care package is made up of rice, noodles, eggs, cooking oil, cabbage, soap and drinking water.
