All Wicked Snorkel guides are passionate about the aquatic realm and it shows! We do far more than just swim around – rather we point out special species, unique coral systems and even some of the rare animals that live on the islands – like the Hairy-legged crabs. Surin Snorkeling Itinerary

You will be picked up at your resort in the morning and from there we drive by minibus to the pier. Your snorkelguide will let you know about the specific destinations to be expected and some information about safety and guidelines for safe snorkeling. Soon you’ll be on the white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Similan Islands. There are several snorkel destinations on the program and lunch is served at the national park area, located in one of the most beautiful lagoons you can imagine. You will be back at your resort with plenty of time for a sunset drink overlooking the Andaman Sea.

Surin Islands Marine life

So what do we see on our trips? We can never guarantee what we will see but we very often see Turtle, Rays, Moray Eels, Octopus. While Manta Rays do visit the Surin Islands they rarely come into the shallows! Turtles – Green and Hawksbill are seen pretty frequently. Enjoy the Snappers, Trevally, Jacks, Sweetlips, Angelfish, Bannerfish, Barracuda, and hundreds of species more. Not to mention the dozens of hard coral species, soft corals, sponges and more.
