Advanced Course

The Advanced course is an incredible 2 day course where we help improve your skills and passion for diving! Experience more by going deeper than 18 meters, learning how the fish act, how to navigate and not get lost! We will give these and many other useful and fun tools to increase your confidence and independence. After completion you will receive your Advanced Diver certificate which will allow you to dive more advanced dive sites all around the world. This is the most affordable Advanced course in Labuan Bajo – Only $325 With limited class time and no exam the Advanced course is a very nice way to better your skills. This is mainly a practical course and there is no exam, so the Advanced course is a very nice way to better your skills on your holiday. Doing your course here in Labuan Bajo gives you the opportunity to enjoy great diving AND stay in your resort at night!

To start the Advanced course you need to be a certified Open Water Diver. In total you need to do 5 Adventure Dives, each with a specific topic. Your instructor will do a theory session on each topic before the dives and under water there are a few exercises to be done. Don’t worry, the skills are easy and there will be a lot of time for diving left since we have small groups and allow for long dive times. So no video’s, exams and homework! Just listen to you instructor and improve yourself on the dives.

Labuan Bajo Advanced Course

The Advanced course is a variety of five dives and brief academic sessions will allow you to explore exciting new skills like deep diving, night diving, and underwater navigation (remember we still do four more “fun dives” too!). The whole point of the course is to provide you with a structured, supervised way to get plenty more practical experience after the Open Water Certification. All of this in the tropical waters of Indonesia. Our Labuan Bajo Advanced Course is a great way to explore new interests, develop new skills and fine tune your diving technique

When the Advanced Course is done? What Then?

After the course is done you will be certified as an Advanced Diver – ready to continue your passion for diving. Of course we have more diving – local reefs and muck diving and more! You can also choose to do one or more specialty courses, or even, if you dare, become a professional diver and stay here for months!

Advanced Course on our Komodo Liveaboard?

It is also possible to join us for a 3day / 3night Komodo liveaboard and do your Komodo advanced course while you are on the boat. There are a minimum of 8 dives on the schedule, which is ideal to combine your 5 Adventure Dives that are needed for the course. And you will have at least more dives to enjoy the beauty of the Komodo National Park and refine your skills.

What’s included in the price?

The course price includes: Marine Park Fees (if applicable) – water, soft drinks and electrolytes – lunch – all dive equipment – certification – good times, great memories and lots of fun! 4 dives on 2 day trips to Labuan Bajo’s greatest dive sites and 1 night dive at a local site (torch included in price).

All Courses are to the strictest training standards and we will cut no corners. Courses are done with SSI (Scuba Schools International), unless otherwise noted. The same course can be conducted as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course – but there will be a surcharge as PADI requires the purchase of the books and materials as part of the course – SSI does not. Otherwise there is no difference in standards or safety between the two systems.
