6 Day Raja Ampat Liveaboard Diving
6 Day liveaboard through the heart of the Coral Triangle – Raja Ampat
For the diver who wants to see it all – and DIVE IT ALL! The 6 Day Raja Ampat Liveaboard Diving adventure makes your diving dreams come true! the density and diversity of marine life is unique in the world – with very few industrial developments, very limited human settlements and clean, clear waters.
Just a few of the highlights include the great dives and under as well as above water caves of Misool, the blue water mangroves, the reefs of the Fam Islands, the fish and manta rays of the Dampier straight, and the great karst islands of the Wayag Archipelago. Then there are the extensive mangrove forests and the many deserted beaches. Some excellent diving can be found in the “blue water mangroves” just west of the Island of Misool. In the north there is some superb critter diving at Waigeo Island and great coral and fish dives in Dampier Straight.

Raja Ampat Liveaboard Diving
The diving in Raja Ampat is considered among the best in the world, with its remote location, vibrant reefs and incredible marine life – there are countless dive sites, all with different characters. Raja Ampat is a simply a life-affirming dive experience.
Under the water, guests on our 6 Day Raja Ampat Liveaboard may experience passing pelagics like Manta Rays, Dolphins, Sharks, Turtles and all sorts of macro-animals in crevices and on terraces of steep walls. Raja Ampat is also a Mecca for lovers of pygmy seahorses which are found here in every shape and color, red, yellow, orange, purple or white.
Wanna talk exotic? Rare Wobbegong and Epaulette Sharks (walking sharks) can be seen, passing Hammerheads, keep an eye on the reefs and corals, sponges, soft corals, shrimps, crabs and countless nudibranchs and hundreds other invertebrates. Huge shoals of sardines are a definite highlight. The area is remote and unspoilt – there are few facilities, and very few trained safety officers – For these reasons, please chose a reputable dive operator with an eye to safety and sensible diving.

Getting to your Raja Ampat Liveaboard
Sorong is the harbour town in West Papua and the normal departure point to dive Raja Ampat. If you are unsure of how to get to Sorong to start your trip it will depend on where your international flight into Indonesia is landing. We recommend coming through Jakarta as the quickest and easiest route to take. If you can arrange direct flights to Manado, Bali or Makassar you will be able to catch connecting flights to Sorong. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offer connecting flights to the above locations. The cost of the domestic flights are not included in the trip price.
It is generally not possible for someone outside of Indonesia to purchase domestic flights in Indonesia so these can be purchased for you by Wicked Diving and added to your invoice. Wicked Diving and its local flight agent can purchase the tickets on your behalf, however, in doing so, Wicked Diving is only acting as an agent for the airline and is not responsible for, and can accept no responsibility for, cancellations, delays, schedule changes, or problems caused by the air carrier. We highly recommend trip interruption and cancellation insurance.
