6 Day Similan Islands Liveaboard
The ultimate Similan Adventure – 6 days experiencing the best of Thailand
For the diver who wants to see it all – and DIVE IT ALL! The 6 Day Similan Liveaboard Adventure offers you all of it. The combination of 2 of our three-day liveaboard trips – you will experience 18 dives over 6 days. With an evening of rest in Khao Lak in the middle – this is the diving experience everyone looks for! Check our trip schedule to see which trip suits you.
These trips tend to favor the intermediate and advanced divers. However, we often had guests on one trip decide to stay on again and join the next trip (if there were spaces available) – so don’t be surprised if you change your travel plans!
Wicked Diving always works in small groups. With only 4 divers per guide – you will feel the personal touch. In fact, you may be surprised at how many of our guests decide to do extra training becasue they feel so confident. On the boat you can find other guests doing their Advanced Course, Nitrox Specialty or even the Master Diver Course!
Similan Liveaboard Safety
With safety features you’d expect on huge luxury liveaboards (large liferaft, radar, satellite phone) and amenities you’ll never find on a budget liveaboard in Thailand (flatscreen tv, DVD players, Nitrox) we are not sure if we are “cheap luxury” or “fancy budget”? I guess you might say we are “just right!” The 6 Day Liveaboard tours are great fun, reasonably priced and offer you the rare chance to visit all the best dive sites at one go.
Wicked Diving offers a unique opportunity to benefit the local community, improve the world around us and have a great diving vacation! We use 2% of all income to support local projects that support the local community, marine research or marine conservation (or all three!). When you dive with Wicked, you make a difference. Please read up on our various projects, and policies on the Ethical Diving page. Did you know the eggs on your trip will be from free-range, organically fed chickens? And the Honey and Jam will be from the Baan San Fan Orphanage?
Marine Life to expect on the 6 Day Similan Liveaboard
All of it! Yup – you will visit almost all the famous sites in the region. You can expect to experience almost everything we have to offer! The giants – Manta’s and Sharks, as well as the reef creatures – Turtles and rays. The wee critters and the giant visitors – this is THE trip for the marine life enthusiast.
There are thorough briefings before each dive and an extensive marine safety and environmental briefing at the start of the trip. In addition our experienced and safety orientated staff will guide you to some amazing scenes – vast forests of soft corals, whole fields of corals and even show you a few incredible animals you would never expect! The Wicked Dive Team also love to have a laugh and often we end up doing all kind of games in the evening when the diving is done. If you are interested – why not book your 6 Day
There are nice long surface intervals in between the dives. So when you are not diving or eating, feel free to relax, join a beach trip or do a bit of snorkeling in the calm bays. It’s all up to you….Why Not book your 6 Day Similan Liveaboard right now?

6 Day Similan Island Liveaboard Dive sites
There are dozens of dive sites in the Similan Islands, but these are just a select few of the dive sites we will visit. Each trip will be tailored to fit our guests needs, the weather and – of course – where the best marine life is at that particular time!
Elephant Head Rock – aka Hin Pusar (between Similan islands #7 and #8): Get ready for one of the biggest boulders you have ever seen under water. It consists of enormous rocks stacked on top of each other, creating a beautiful landscape and great swimthroughs. You can often see big groups of trevally hunting for fish and its a good site to see barracuda, giant moray eels and mantis shrimps.
Breakfast Bend (Similan Island #9): This beautiful reef dive around Koh Bangu, the northernmost of the Similan Islands. On the 6-day Similan Liveaboard we often experience leopard sharks, turtles and maybe the elusive shovelnose ray. The scenery is spectacular, and we are usually fortunate enough to have a current that takes us drifitng along this reef.
Shark Fin Reef (Similan island #3): A massive boulder dive with a good chance to see leopard sharks and rays. Usually very good visibility and sometimes a current so a good place o make drift dives.
Anita’s Reef (Similan island #5-6): One of the best reef dives in the Similans, suitable for all levels. There is reef, there are boulders and there are white sandy bottoms with big groups of garden eels.
East of Eden (Similan island #7): On the East side of island #7 you find one of the most beautiful reef dives in Thailand. This is many divers favourite and we have to agree… It’s like you are in an aquarium. No Similan Liveaboard is complete without a visit! You can find giant seafans in the deeper parts and colorful soft corals in the shallows.
West of Eden (Similan island #7): This dive site has rapidly become the favourite among our Liveaboard staff. It is a beautiful site with loads of small and rare critters. On some dives we have seen frogfish, ghostpipefish, mantis shrimp, ribbon eels, longnose hawkfish and purple fire gobies all on one dive.

Koh Bon: Koh Bon is one of the better places to see manta rays. With wing-spans sometimes in excess of five meters they are spectacular creatures to behold! Last season has been very good with Manta Rays almost everyday from mid-December until May. Of course it’s no guarantee, but Koh Bon has plenty of other marine life with big schools of fusiliers, sea snakes, octopus and lionfish.
Koh Tachai Plateau: Koh Tachai is a stunning site. A collection of submerged rocks which begins at 12 meters and extends beyond 35 meters to a vast sandy area. To the south of Koh Tachai island this site lies exposed to strong tidal currents which can often make the dive a rather lively if challenging one.
Richelieu Rock: Richelieu Rock is Thailand’s premier dive site and one of the best places in Thailand to see big pelagics like Whale Sharks and Manta Rays. This huge pinnacle climbing from the depths of the Andaman Sea attracts scuba divers from around the world. Huge fish, soft corals and an incredible array of small fish make Richelieu famous around the world. There is so much to see on this site, that we often spend 2 or 3 dives here.
