The Similan Islands are famous for the amazing corals and the gently sloping reefs as well as the exciting boulder reefs of the West Side of the Similans. With more than 40 different sites to chose from – you will have the experience of a life time. Check our trip schedule for specific dates!
The Similan Islands region does have sites for the beginning diver and snorkeler too! (there are some more challenging ones we take the experienced divers to). We try to make time to visit the beaches on Similan Island #4. This trip is great for the diver, for the snorkeler and for the whole family! Did you know you can easily do an Advanced Course while on the trip?
The clear and warm waters of the Similan islands are home to many varieties of Marine life. From the smallest nudibranchs to the Manta Rays – you will be amazed. Turtles are often seen by the snorkelers and on the safety stops. The night dives from our Similan Liveaboard are unforgettable – with dozens of species not experienced during the day. If you are interested – why not book your Similan Liveaboard now?
There are so many dive sites in the Similans and you could spend a few weeks diving different sites. We designed this schedule to allow our guests to join us for another Similan Liveaboard trip and not do the same dive sites twice! You may be given this option while ON the trip – but as we are often fully booked – it’s best to reserve your 6 Day Similan Liveaboard now! We also offer one of the most unique liveaboards in the region! 5 day Similan Liveaboard trips visit the entire region – including Richelieu Rock while staying on our hand-built wooden schooner.
Safety is our first priority on our Similan Liveaboard! We only SCUBA dive in small groups and have plenty of surface interval in between dives. There are thorough briefings before each dive and an extensive marine safety and environmental briefing at the start of the trip. Our staff are not only very experienced and safety orientated, they also love to have a laugh and often we end up doing all kind of games in the evening when the diving is done.
There are always nice long surface intervals in between the dives. So when you are not diving or eating, feel free to relax, join a beach trip or do a bit of snorkeling in the calm bays. It’s all up to you….I’m curious could I check your trip schedule for specific dates?

Similan Liveaboard – Dive sites
There are dozens of dive sites in the Similan Islands, but we pick and choose each trips sites to best suit the needs and passions of our guests. In the Southern Similans we feature these (just a select few):
Shark Fin Reef (Similan island #3): A massive boulder dive with a good chance to see leopard sharks and rays. Usually very good visibility and sometimes a current so a good place o make drift dives. That just sounds too good!
Anita’s Reef (Similan island #5-6): One of the best reef dives in the Similans, suitable for all levels. There is reef, there are boulders and there are white sandy bottoms with big groups of garden eels. Depths range from 5-25 meters and the soft corals are abundant everywhere.
East of Eden (Similan island #7): On the East side of island #7 you find one of the most beautiful reef dives from our Similan Liveaboard. This is many divers favourite and we have to agree… It’s like you are in an aquarium. There are so many fish everywhere and the corals are very healthy. You can find giant seafans in the deeper parts and colorful soft corals in the shallows. I’m curious could I check your Schedule for specific dates?
Elephant Head Rock – aka Hin Pusar (between Similan islands #7 and #8): Get ready for one of the biggest boulders you have ever seen under water. This site is unique. It consists of enormous rocks stacked on top of each other, creating a beautiful landscape and great swimthroughs. You can often see big groups of trevally hunting for fish and its a good site to see barracuda, giant moray eels and mantis shrimps. But it’s the size of the rocks that will blow you away while on our Similan Liveaboard tours.
Breakfast Bend (Similan Island #9): This beautiful Reef dive around the northern most of the Similan islands. From our 3 Day Similan Liveaboard we often experience leopard sharks, turtles and maybe the elusive shovelnose ray. The scenery is spectacular, and we are usually fortunate enough to have a current that takes us drifting along this reef.
West of Eden (Similan island #7): This dive site has rapidly become the favourite among our Similan Liveaboard staff. It is a beautiful site with loads of small and rare critters. On some dives we have seen frogfish, ghostpipefish, mantis shrimp, ribbon eels, longnose hawkfish and purple fire gobies all on one dive. We even saw the occasional manta ray here last season so keep your eyes out in the blue. Could I book My Similan Liveaboard right now?
