Wicked Diving was founded on the belief that diving should be safe, educational and fun. So we try to make the education more fun than most people imagine! Join us and see why! For the 2010-2011 Season Wicked is offering 4 different tours throughout the season – so there will always be something special that you and your family can do! All trips include the Ecological Diver Rating as part of the trip!

Whale Sharks & Manta Rays of Thailand – 8 February & 25 March

What more can we say! We try to spot these giants of the sea and do photographic research. The world-wide population of Whale Sharks is a complete mystery! And Manta Rays are elusive and enthralling. There are very few places on earth blessed with populations of BOTH! This trip goes to more challenging locations.

Similan Turtles & Reefs – Available upon Request

Face to Face with Turtles! Pristine reefs on unihabited islands? Yes…Join us for 3 days exploring the wide selection of reefs on the Similan Islands and learning all about the Turtle Population and the dynamic ecology of the reefs. This trip is not challenging and open to all skill levels and all ages. The Turtle & Reef Education Tour is available upon request for your school group, dive club or family

Similan Shark & Ray Education – 01 March

  Did you know the Similan Islands are home to at least 8 different Species of Shark? None of them are dangerous to humans! We have small rays and Manta Rays as well! Learn more about the amazing Elasomobranchs! Dives will be to as much as 30 meters on this trip. The Similan Shark tour will occur in March 2011

Similan Wrecks & Pinnacles – 8 April

The Similan Islands are famous for their visibility, the reefs and incredible  marine life – but did you know there are several ship wrecks that are truly exciting? Nothing too noteworthy – but imagine popping your head out of fishing boat to see turtles racing away? Or the sun being blocked by a Whale Shark passing overhead! In addition we have several deeper pinnacles virtually untouched by recreational Divers! Not a trip for the beginning diver!

Educate – Conserve – Enjoy

Not only do we offer these incredible opportunities to come face to face with some of Earth’s most majestic creatures – but Wicked Diving also operates the only ecologically friendly Dive boat in Thailand! While our small groups and incredible attention to safety are standard fare – you will walk away enriched, educated and amazed! There is no better place to take some time out and dive with Manta Rays or Turtles and help conserve their populations as well as educate the family!

Wicked Diving Educational & Reserach trips are made up of a perfect combination of diving, presentations, reef /beach clean-ups,  and even some video or photo presentations. By the end of  each of these Unique tours you will have also earned  ECOlogical Specialty rating. Only a few dive centers in the world issue this certification – and only after meeting stringent standards.

All Special Education Trips: 19,900 Baht per person

This price includes: Pick up from your Resort in the Khao Lak Area – transport to the pier and back (if you are staying outside the Khao Lak Area – we can arrange Taxi Service for you) – Marine Park Fees – Air-conditioned cabins – Organic Cotton towels & linens – Good Times – Organic Shampoos & conditioners – Hand Made soap – Tea, coffee, water and electrolytes – Great fun – Tanks & weights – Fully Qualified & Insured dive guides – lots and lots of delicious food – great memories! In addition we include the SSI Deep diver specialty, there will be presentations and the use of a digital camera for each buddy team. Whoa! That’s a lot!

This price does not include: Pick up from areas outside the Khao Lak region – use of dive equipment (this can be rented for 500 Baht per day) and INCLUDES a dive computer) – soft drinks and beers – bad attitude
