Advanced Course on Liveaboard (very popular) – Advanced Diver – Rescue Course – Master Diver – Nitrox – Deep – 5 Day Video Course
Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and recognize stress in others and will have the knowledge to be able to diffuse this before stress levels rise to the point where panic occurs. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. This course is done in Khao Lak, where we practice realistic scenarios on our local reefs.
Specialty courses focus on one topic and you will be able to learn a lot on those activities that you are interested in. There is a whole range to choose from:
- Nitrox Diver – learn to dive with gas mixes of up to 40% oxygen
- Deep Diving Specialty – learn to dive in a safe way to depths of 40 meters / 130 ft.
- Night & Limited Visibilty Specialty – learn all the proper procedures for diving in the dark
- Navigation Specialty – learn to find your way around the divesites and back to the boat
- Shark Diver Specialty – learn everything about these amazing animals
- ECO Logical Specialty – learn how to take care of the reefs and to minimize your impact
- Wreck Diver Specialty – learn to explore wrecks in a safe way
- Search and Recovery Specialty – learn how to find and retreive lost objects from a divesite
For most of the specialties there is a bit of theory and you will have to make 2 – 4 dives focussed on that specific area. They are very practical and fun and can be done either on daytrips or on our liveaboard. You can also combine several specialties and if you have 5 specialties (including Rescue Diver) and a minimum of 50 dives, you can even apply for the Master Diver rating.
