Why Join our Phi Phi liveaboard?

The scenery alone is worth the price of admission. 3 days of cruising among the jungle encrusted islands, limestone cliffs, passing beaches made famous by James Bond and Leonardo Di Caprio (“The Beach”) snorkeling in the turquise waters of these remote places will certainly fulfill the adventurer in anyone. Underwater it gets even better! Tiny seahorses to passing Whale Sharks with rainbow colored soft corals wafting in the currents  – an epic journey.

From our 3 Day Phi Phi Liveaboard we offer a full range of dives – for the more experienced and veteran divers, there are also great places to learn to dive or brush up on you skills, walls, drifts and we even have the opportunity to do a 80 meter long wreck dive! This is a great way to savour 3 days of great liveaboard diving without spending a fortune or being rushed onto or off of massive cattle boats.

Only 12 guests per trip and we never dive with more than 4 guests per guide – you will always be cared for and treated like a guest in our house! We are very happy to prepare meals the way you like and each night we love to play games like charades around the dining table and tell stories. The hammocks and the stars are yours to enjoy. The Phi Phi archipelago consists of six small islands about 40 km east of Phuket. The largest and popular are the islands of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. This whole area was once just a side trip known to a few backpackers and divers …but is now one of Thailand’s highlights thanks to the movie The Beach. It’s often the object of the conversations between travelers all over Thailand. (Almost every will tell you it was better when they were there 😉

On our Phi Phi Liveaboard trips will may visit places like:

Koh Phi Phi Don is the biggest of the two with an area of 28 square km. The only major developed area in Phi Phi, except the sea gypsy village, is the famous Tonsai Bay, a very particular curving beach that forms an isthmus connecting two hilly sections of Phi Phi Don.

Koh Phi Phi Leh is a only 6.6 square kilometres island, but it is extremely beautiful. It is just 3 kilometres long and 1 km wide. Surrounded almost entirely by limestone cliffs that raise right out of the sea.

Ao Maya, or Maya Bay, is now world-famous, as its beautiful landscape filmed in the Hollywood movie The Beach, starring Leonardo Di Caprio.

Hin Daeng and Hin Muang is an underwater limestone pinnacle that rises a few meters above the surface and drops off into the blue of the Andaman sea. The pinnacle is covered with soft corals and anemones with schools of barracuda, jacks, trevally and sail fish. Hin Muang only a few hundred meters away is completely submerged and covered in purple soft corals and anemones.

We may also visit Phuket’s famous sites – Shark Point, King Cruiser Wreck and Anemone Reef. The wonderful marine diversity and interesting topography will delight all divers. The challenges are to take it all in in just three days!

Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai, Koh Yung are also places we may visit on the Phi Phi Liveaboard trip. These sites are great for divers and snorkellers seeking out black tip and leopard sharks, sea horse, ghost pipe fish and other incredible marine life.
