An extraordinary day

An extraordinary day with Wicked Diving in Phuket

Such an interesting day! We left Khao lak to go on a fieldtrip to the chamber in Phuket. The trip took an unexpected turn when we decided to go and have a look at the recycling station in Phuket that we have worked so hard to find!

Ok ok…. Aoy worked so hard to find, Cheers P’Aoy. Perhaps I should add that the group consisted of Paul (of course), Sara, Thomas, Dan and me (Johanna).

So we went to the recycling station and suddenly we found ourselves getting a guided tour around the Phuket Garbage Incinerator by a very nice gentleman who talked passionately about the process of incinerating and garbage thingies!!

Thanks Piyak!

Here is Thomas supervising the process of incineration 100 tons of Trash per day!

When we eventually left the station I think everybody felt really pleased with themselves for getting some more information about the “secret” recycling station.

Next stop was the mall (central festival), hungry as we were we rushed up to the pizza resturant to treat ourselves with some well-deserved pizza! Sara and I had salad.

Later in the afternoon we continued our adventure to the “chamber” as the Phuket Hyperbaric Chamber is called.

As the doctor was busy with a patient that had just finished a treatment Paul gave us a guided tour around the place.

It was really interesting to hear about all the steps they apply in the treatment. We got to go into the chamber and sit on the beds and try out the phone, very cool!

I might also add that I tried out Pauls snack, seagrass!! Yes he eats seagrass and yes it’s not very good….

However Thanks for an amazing day Paul!!!
