Diving Komodo National Park

The Komodo area offers pretty much every imaginable type of diving; sea mounts with strong currents, patrolled by sharks and trevallies or calm reefs teeming with some of the richest variety in marine life you can find anywhere in the world. There are dozens and dozens of dive sites in the Komodo National Park, but we pick and choose the dive sites on each trip to best suit the needs and passions of our guests. During the dry season, most of the diving is concentrated around the northern side of the islands of Komodo and Rinca and the dozens of small islands and islets scattered around the area.
The waters of this region can be challenging, so we focus each trip on our guests – not on how convenient is is for our staff. While some guests may be up for the challenges of seeing sharks at sites with high currents – our snorkelers may encounter pygmy seashorses in the protected reefs. With a park of this size and this much diversity, there is so much to see.
This is just the marine life too! With hundreds of species of birds, large mammals and of course – the largest lizard on earth, the Komodo Dragon! We spend time on the land AND underwater, so we can experience the best of both worlds – Komodo Diving and Dragon encounters!
